Question

Why are you able to give such long warranties on roof repairs, when others give 90 days to 1 year?

Answer

We are very thorough in determining if a repair is possible. As long as age hasn't affected the workability of the roofing product (end of useful lifespan) to be worked with, and gross neglect in installation practices wasn't involved (roof leaking everywhere, not common). We will locate the specific leak in question, and will analyze the area for other potential causes for leaks. We will then perform a proper repair, rather than a band-aid solution, to make sure our roof repair outlasts the life of your roof.

Why do you include Synthetic felt as standard on all shingle roof replacements?

Answer

It is a win win for both of us. Synthetic felt is a much better solution to the old asphalt felt. For the consumer it is simply a superior product. It doesn't collect moisture, is highly weather resistant, and is a much more durable material. It is good for us for the exact same reasons, with the added benefit of being easier for our guys to walk on when on the roof. It gives us added safety.

Why do you typically offer CertainTeed Roofing Materials?

Answer

Honestly, we do, and we don't. We love their shingles and feel that they are the best bang for your buck on the market. We feel their Architectural shingles are tried and true, and have proven themselves as capable to weather the storms for decades when installed properly. We also feel that since most of their competitor shingles have been completely reworked over the past few years (this doesnt always end well, even in the past several years), that they are still in the experimental phase, and we would not like to particpate in experimenting with our customers roofs. The Metal roofing materials we use are produced by a local supplier that produces a great product. And with Self Adhered, or torch-down bitumen roofs, we like to go with ABC's Mulehide, or Gaf Liberty, as we feel they have superior low slope products. We receive no discounts or fees for selling the products we believe in. It comes down to our experience working with different roofing materials over the past 25 years. If you have a product you really would like to go with. We will install any reputable manufacturers products and you will still receive the same leak free guarantee that we give on all roof replacements. It is many years down the road, that we expect the difference in material quality to start to show its face on the roof. Pricing is the same for us, and you, when comparing tier level pricing between the major brands, such as CertainTeed, Owens Corning, and GAF.

You offer a 10 year leak free warranty on all full roof replacements. What does that mean?

Answer

It means that if you have any roof leaks occur during the next 10 years, we will be there quickly to get the issue resolved. It is a very rare occurence that we have a leak issue, but if it does happen, we see this as one of the most important aspects of maintaining a reputable business. Answer

This applies to ShingleMaster companies. We can offer extended 4-star warranties through CertainTeed, for certain aspects of your roof replacement. For a homeowner to qualify for this warranty, CertainTeed does have requirements that we use their products on your roof, making up the Integrity Roof System.

Answer

Our roots are in roofing. But we are fully qualified for any wood damage, painting, and siding projects you may have. Our skills often even drift from these areas, but we try to only advertise what we are truly the best at.
